ABOUT THE PROJECT
579 is a production company that produces a range of media mostly dealing with film and television. Their motto is “We tell stories about life in all its filthy glory.” They not afraid to tell difficult stories about people from all backgrounds. I was approached by the founders of 579 to create their brand’s identity. We worked together to make sure the visible elements matched the message they were trying to convey to the public.
Since the brand was new I created their primary logo as a classic wordmark. The five and seven merge together symbolizing how the brand is connecting people from all backgrounds together. Yet the nine is alone, disconnected, illustrating 579 is not afraid to tell the difficult stories. The rest of the elements were built to reinforce the message of bold and togetherness. I know that this classic mark prefect symbolized the brand and is responsive enough to last for a long time.
